back to kas in turkey

after two great weeks at nur beach hotel in kas the holiday is over. nice dives with mavi diving, here are some photos from the dc3.

two weeks before our visit in saklikent there had been heavy rains causing a huge mudslide. so the walls in the gorge was covered with mud about two meters high. sad to see this and knowing people did not make it out of here.

my friends at work gave me a present last birthday - an experince free of choice. my choice was to go to hälsningland and vargas wilderness lodge. on a very hot summer night we sat in a bear hide out. and we got lucky. to be able to see bears free, in the beatiful swedish summer nature, was another fantastic experience. thanks everyone who gave me this amazing gift!

happy easter from göreme in cappadokia. words can not describe the landscape in cappadokia, it's like a fairytaile. or moon landscape. so different, not like anything i've ever seen. you must go there and see it yourself. more photos in my gallery, and a slideshow in the videogallery.

maldives check out

going home after a week of amazing dives. a dream came true, a whale shark gliding right beneath me. wow.

mantas, so close you could almost touch them.

next stop - maldives. check in at m/v leo for 7 days live aboard and fantastic diving. maldives is exactly as seen on postcards, white beaches, palm trees and beautiful blue toned water.

before leaving sri lanka we took a boat tour on madu river. made a few stops and got the chance to hold a baby crocodile. cool.

also took the opportunity to clean our feet in a fish spa. peculiar.

the local fishermen, women and children brought a portable disco and had a new years party with dancing on the beach, right in front of our room. we joined!

the safari in yala national park exceeded all expectations. had only been there for 30 minutes when we saw a leopard resting in a tree.

time to enjoy my present from dear friends - seal and eagle criuse in the stockholm archipelago with briggen tre kronor af stockholm.

full day wich started from stavsnäs. saw plenty of eagles, unfortunately no seals (a resaon to come back though). this was a fantastic experience in magic surroundings.
